Might be cool if the vertical part could be painted, too. Maybe that's too hard to design in, though.

Is it possible to have the texture of the printed splash guard match the texture of the trim around the car. I think it would make it a more seamless addition.
That may be possible with a place like shapeways, but not if i print myself

You might be able to prep the printed part, sanding and a spray textured paint. And then use some kind of setup from Smooth-On to cast a mold and reproduce them.

Theres not much that you could cast them out of that would make these affordable

I'd be in for a set of Front and Rear too. I really like #3, but like mentions before maybe a bit bigger (wider). Especially for the guys running the wide tire.

How about this for those requesting wider? I went out .5" and down .5".
Those look really good man! Loving the diy spirit around this place!

I would absolutely be on board to get rid of my laughably thin / overpriced RPI guards. Personally, I don't see the natural 3D printed texture or lack of finish a problem. They're going to be pelted by rocks anyway, plus they're so close to the ground you'd have to inspect them up close to even notice. Print them in black and you've got my money

(I'd recommend padding your prices at least to justify your time spent, that way you don't begin to loathe going to the post office once you get 30+ orders haha)

Edit:
How ridiculous do they look if you go even taller and wider? I'd personally like as much protection as possible, running 1" spacers. A lot of guys are running spacers and having serious problems with their rear fenders getting sand blasted (see spacer thread). You'd have a ton of interest if you could solve this problem. (Feel free to use my car as a guinea pig if you need someone!)

I am definitely interested in these! I've been wanting a good set but didn't want to buy the overpriced cheap ones... Also #3 is my vote for sure! Loving the .5" wider/taller ones

You're joking....
I wish i was. I got a cease and desist on "r&d" and "sales activities".

Good news is i sold the design to a company called K9Motorsports which can be found on IG and FB. They said they would do the sponsor thing here when they were ready to produce.
