Someone on YouTube installed a 325 wide rear tire on a 2019 PP 2 wheel. Would that work?

I had 325s on a set of SVE SP2 wheels and I didn't like how much they poked. They never rubbed however.

The YouTube said it now matches the width outside the fender as the front PP2 wheel

So I guess it's possible on the pp2 with the offset?

10mm on the inside, 10mm on the outside. 10mm is about 0.4”. Also realize not all 325’s will measure identical. With the 19x11 +50, the 325’s stick out about 1/3” farther than the stock 305’s on the 19x11 +48.

Also realize a 325/30/19 is about 1/2” taller than a 305/30/19, so it will also effect your gearing a little bit. The 3.73’s with the 305/30/19 are about like a 3.93/4 rear gear when compared to the 275/40/19 on a PP1 with 3.73. I can trap about 114-115 in the 1/4 mile in 3rd gear with the 325/30/19’s.

Would never expect that tire being taller half inch. So, if that same tire were a 325/35/19 would that be same height?

No.

The '30' and '35' are not hard sidewall height numbers. They are sidewall heights as a percentage of tire section width.

To the nearest 0.1"

305/30-19 is about 26.2" tall, each sidewall would be 305 x 0.30 ÷ 25.4 = 3.6"
325/30-19 is about 26.7" tall, each sidewall would be 325 x 0.30 ÷ 25.4 = 3.8"
325/35-19 is almost 28" tall, each sidewall would be 325 x 0.35 ÷ 25.4 = 4.5"

A proper wheel fitment for a 325 is more like an 11.5-12" wide wheel. The "will it fit" ? Sure, you can mount a 325 on an 11", and for a drag tire, it may not be a huge deal, but you're introducing a bit of a compromise in overall handling (and may not even be increasing the contact patch that much).

FWIW, I run a 305/35 on my rear 20x11 wheels (ET50 offset).

I run a 325/30R19 on a 19x10 wheel. Saves on curb rash. Clears everything. Fender gap sucks.. but I ain't lowering it.
