Yes, but if you run more negative camber than stock, you’ll need to remove the metal parking brake cable bracket and attach the parking brake cable closer to the fender. Otherwise the tire will rub on the bracket and the parking brake line. See pic.Can we run 315 SC2's on the stock rear wheels? Car is a 2019 non R.
Do you have pictures of the 315's on your car?Yes, but if you run more negative camber than stock, you’ll need to remove the metal parking brake cable bracket and attach the parking brake cable closer to the fender. Otherwise the tire will rub on the bracket and the parking brake line. See pic.
No, sorry.Do you have pictures of the 315's on your car?
I think it depends on how much negative camber you're running. I've run two sets of MPSC2's 315's on stock GT350 11" rear rims and never had a problem at 1.1 degrees.Do you have pictures of the 315's on your car?
Bingo. At 2.0 degrees negative camber, I get the results shown in the pic above.I think it depends on how much negative camber you're running. I've run two sets of MPSC2's 315's on stock GT350 11" rear rims and never had a problem at 1.1 degrees.
Just so you're aware, a 315/35-20 is entirely way too tall of a tire for the S550 chassis. Try to keep the diameter around 27 inches, not almost 29 inches...315 35 20's worked on my GT just fine, no rubbing at all as far as I can tell. aftermarket 20x10 pp1 replica wheels though
I completely disagree, it looks perfect height to me. It takes up all the wheel gap and the car looks lowered without having to lower it, also I love the rake it gives. I love this height tire on the rear.Just so you're aware, a 315/35-20 is entirely way too tall of a tire for the S550 chassis. Try to keep the diameter around 27 inches, not almost 29 inches...
I changed my tire diameter with my tuner to the proper height so my speedo reads right.Since there are laws on odometer fraud, I'm surprised that progressive states like California have not required proof of OEM tire diameter. And if it was discovered that a different diameter had been used, you would need to have a licensed engineer supply PE stamped calculations showing what the actual mileage should be due to the different rolling circumference.
Think of the extra revenue & paperwork the state could generate.
