I'm looking to order a set of weld wheels and I think I might order the rear wheels at 20x10.5. Does anyone else run a 305 on a 20x10.5? If it isn't such a great idea what tire size would you recommend instead?

Every tire manufacturer publishes specs that include the recommended wheel size range for the tire.

A lot of the bigger electronic tire retailers (TireRack, etc.) have that data available on their website.

This summer I ran Firestone Indy 500 305/35-20 on a 20x10.5 wheel with +38 offset. The tire was a bit taller than recommended so my speedo was off. I had the occasional rub on the rear when driving over dips on the highway. A 305/30 would probably be better, but I like the meaty tire look more.

I run 305's on a 10" shelby c70 wheel. Fitment is great. This setup was recomended to me by american muscle.

Ford runs 305 tires on 10.5" wheels.

Manufacturer recommendations for a 305 tire is a 10-12" wheel width.

You'll be fine.

Hi. I am having a set of forged 11.5" rear to run 325/30/20, but with the 11.5 I can run other widths like the 315 tires. All depends on you want. Good luck

Akio at PK Auto Design does these all of the time. He said me running the HC052 Concave 11.5" x 20" rear with 325/30/20 would be flush with fender and have no issue at all. They can even full custom paint anyway you want on the wheels from the manufactures. They set me up with mounted tires, with TPMS sensors, Ceramic coating applied, everything for Half the cost of other High quality 100% T6061 Aluminum Wheels. Manufactures. Post more pics of yours. The more everyone post their successful mods, the better choices others can make. Thanks
