My 2015 is approaching 30,000 miles Maintenance.
I called up Ford Dealer for price they charge.
They quoted about $630.00. Includes tranny maintenance.
Fuel injector and engine cleaners.wipers.fuel filter. air filter etc etc.
If I skip some of these services, will it void warranty down the
road say if tranny acts up under warranty, and I decided not to add the
tranny maintenance service? Curious what you guy's did when your
cars were due for the 30,000 mile maintenance..$630.00 sounds
a lot...Thanks...

I thought the transmission fluid was a 150,000 item, not 30,000. Have not looked into it but my car is right at 30,000 miles.

That's the "dealer preferred 30k maintenance". Nearly every dealership has their own version. Besides the necessary services at that mileage (see owners manual) they tack on a bunch of stuff that doesn't really need to be done yet. As with any business they need to make a profit and most people really don't know any better. Follow what it says in your owners manual. I believe only the engine air filter needs to be done at 30k.

Sounds like a Harley dealer or as they say "stealer".
Yep i just bought a Street Glide. Got a great deal on the bike but they get you on mostly everything else.

Haha, I've drained and filled my transmission fluid twice already and I'm at 30K. I will take my car in for a 30K but provide them my log book of the work I do to the car and let them know that I only want XYZ done according to manufacturer requirements, not theirs.

Yeah, they tried that with me and most of it was BS. They even mentioned lubricating suspension parts, but the suspension parts are all enclosed low-friction parts that don't require to be greased. I figured 45k-55k you are looking at new brakes and tires at the most.
