Hopefully he gets everything he deserves and then some. What are they saying locally? From far away this seems to be happening with more frequency and these thieves seem to know exactly what they’re going after and where they’re located within Flat Rock. Inside job?

Pretty much anything I see even on local news sites and the like are pretty much an echo of what we're saying here.. how is the security such a joke. I did see one article saying that they believe it's an inside job, but there must be a lot of people in on it, with the rate it keeps happening.. seems like at least once a month a few are going missing.

they are idling the car for a couple minutes so the oil has a chance to warm up, gentle like. They are "car guys" too. Right?

Not like those YT imbeciles who take a car off the trailer and bounce it off the rev limiter 30 seconds after rolling it off the ramps...

Fwiw my car was built at the end of August but it does NOT have the hotspot delete. Dunno why mine was special.

Today I had the conversation with the director of Ford Belgium. First of all he told me that it is absolutely not normal that an order is unplanned for 9 months and that the order never made it from Europe to the USA. So I would have continued to wait weeks and months for a car that will never be built.

He has now taken on the matter and is trying to get it built as MY22, alternatively then as MY23. Provided he still gets a slot for production 22, the car would be built in the next few days and weeks.

In the case where it becomes a MY23, it will be built within the first week of December.

In any case, he guaranteed that I will have the Mustang by the end of January.

The Ford sales director called me for an update:
He's got the vehicle on order, and it's already planned to week 11/28. Delivery is scheduled 10 weeks after production, so end of February.

He has apologized once again on behalf of Ford and offered me as compensation a visit and a driver training with a professional driver at Ford's internal test center in Belgium.

Well... A couple more stolen... Wonder how the 25 foot jump off an overpass worked out for the thief...

All 3 were GT500’s per twitter, so thankfully I’m in the clear. Praying mine being a manual is protecting me from these idiots.

Maybe if they offered the GT500 in anything but an auto they wouldn’t be having these issues 🥸

Side note, thief who jumped was some poor 14 year old kid. Incredibly sad he’s already been corrupted at that age, but I gotta say a joyride in a brand new Shelby at age 14 would’ve had a smile on my face in the back of that ambulance LOL

Talk about one hand not knowing what the other is doing! I just received the below email. This coming 7 days after I was informed by my dealer that Ford would not be building my MY22 order. No wonder tracking is basically impossible!
