previously I posted about the PP Nickle finish optional 850$ upgrade wheels that a guy had. If anyone is interested, here is what I figured out. Sadly, way out of my reach.

front part number JR3Z1007H list price is $1834.00 each + a core charge (I did bother to ask)

rear part number JR3Z1007J list price is $ 1725.00 each plus core charge.

my hopes are crushed.

Ford really needs to hide options that aren’t available with certain packages as users build out their cars — which would leave only what IS available for them so they don’t have to click through every single thing. I just wanted anything but black and that was the only other option for PP1.

During my build, my dealer casually mentioned they’d be worth more if I bought them elsewhere after the fact and I just assumed he was being a salesman!

well your profile says SC, not a specific city. Since it hit land for the second time at around 5am in Charleston and then came up the coast, pretty much all of SC/NC has been under a warning all day. I’m in Raleigh and we have lost power and basically everything is closed.

Definitely not in SC, although I’ll leave it alone. I’m kinda close to fifty-six, arkansas. In the sticks.

Yesterday evening something happened with my car: The FordPass mobile application asked me to activate my car.

The ship on which my car was (I guessed from dates and port calls), has been docked at Antwerp from 09/28 to 09/29. The request for activation came 09/30.

What I think happened is that as part of the initial inspection when the cars come to continental Europe the modem is activated (among possibly other things).
I don't have yet an updated status on the tracking API but it always lags two to three days.

Sorry for my bad English today but yesterday 1 liter of Sangria went down without noticing and I'm still feeling it... The Spanish people really know how to enjoy life!

It’s alive!!! You will activate it as part of picking it up at your dealer. At least, that’s how it worked for me.

I decided to see what my FordPass said - I had already been able to add the VIN but now - the image shows up and yep "Activate Vehicle" is there.

Every little step... (no matter how little lol)

Janey was discharged from the ship the same day the Atlantic Sea vessel moored at the Antwerp port.
Now it's the very last leg of the journey: from Antwerp to my dealer in the southern province of Milano.

For those of us that wrote off not getting scheduled for our MY22 orders, it was indeed a smart move to order a MY23 rather than sitting around waiting and wishing. Another week of no scheduling this week. Not even cleanup. I believe we are done with any scheduling miracles for MY22.

Wished I could be there to see it delivered to you. I managed to spend almost 3 years in Vicenza many years ago. But, I never blamed the Spanish for my poor language. The Italians have plenty of great wines that caused the same problem for me. Enjoy your new ride.

On mine I didn't try because I already know what happens: I took delivery of my mother's Focus a few weeks ago.
On the Sync display (the APIM) it will asks to confirm the pairing.

In our case 99,99% of the time the car will be turned off and the notification will time out, the other 0,01% will be driven by a professional who will not pay attention to the message or will deny it.

@The Dark Horse Yeah I didn't push it for fear of undoing something. Knowing my luck my vehicle would be disassembled if I push the button. Or sold to someone else lol. So I'm very glad luca provided the intel lol

Agreed! I ordered yesterday and was confirmed a few minutes later. Got a great deal from my dealer for my troubles. I hope all of us left behind for MY22 get our cars this time!
