22 S550 Tracking Thread

I hope that Ford's tracking is just behind. I get different answers every time I chat/text/phone with anyone from Ford about my order. On Thursday, the dealer said the car is complete and awaiting shipment with an estimated arrival date of 9/17 (although the tracker website just says it has been in production since 8/25.) I just "chatted" with Ford and they say the production is scheduled to be complete by 9/17. (Last week I chatted with Ford and was told the car was through the body and trim lines - unfortunately a google search only shows what that means if I had ordered a Toyota. Ford just references the origins of the moving assembly line 100 years ago.) Arrrrrrg.

Hopefully and similar to my timeline in July. Blend was a Tuesday Aug 26 with projected build on the Thursday 28. On the Thursday it still showed in-production, but the FP guys said on the Thursday that it was PRODUCED but not yet released - I’m thinking the pinstripes. At that time from FP the arrival at dealer was projected 13-19 August. On Monday Aug 1st it went to BUILT and awaiting shipping, and the delivery dates were 18-24 Aug. It finally shipped on Aug 10th — convoy to Flat Rock Railyard to Denver, where it arrived evening of Thursday 18th. Convoy to my dealer in Colorado Springs on Friday where it arrived on Friday evening 19th, so the projected time was very good. PDI completed on Monday and I picked it up on Tuesday 23rd. Have put >1100 sweet miles on it!

It absolutely is. I chatted with FP on 9/1 and they said they had no update on their end, that it was still sitting in Flat Rock waiting for pick up. Then on 9/2, outside of the delivery window, I got a call from my dealer saying it had just arrived.

Entirely possible that it was loaded and shipped from MI to VA in the 12-16 hours between chatting and hearing from the dealer, but very unlikely. It was probably loaded on a truck 8/31 or 9/1 and it just hadn't updated in the system yet.

I wasn't expecting it on a holiday but this morning my vehicle shipped (9 days after it was built). Website updated and got the email. Delivery estimate remains the same - September 18 - 24 to deliver to Western Washington.

@Fyoutoo I see we had the same blend date, and module data showed up on the same day, but I've had nothing since then. Just curious what the sequence number on your window sticker is?

My segmentation date got moved to 3 weeks later. :( Was scheduled for next week. Highly unlikely to get it before Christmas now I feel unless shipping goes absolutely perfectly to Australia.

Well... According to Eric at FP about 30 seconds ago mine was loaded onto a rail car on the 3rd and the delivery window is still good. You might want to hit up the FP chatline to see if they can give you an update on yours.

You could be in my boat. Blend date of 8/26, shows in production 8/29 and on 9/2 chat with Ford to find out it’s done but hasn’t been released yet no idea what’s holding it up.

Well, checked in with FP and looks like the tracker just hasn't been updated.

As for the pup, he's about 60 pounds bigger now, but still just as cute, lol.

Just got off chat with FP. My SECOND delivery window starts tomorrow. They said last scanned in New Boston. Likely means still at the 5M abyss. 40 days marked as "in transit" and counting.
