Well, went from waiting for 17 days, to showing as in transit this morning, to getting a call from my dealer saying it's arrived. Ford's tracking system must be behind! I'm picking up my Mustang this afternoon, will post photos!

Built to In Transit for me was ~17 days, so it's possible! Personally, I wouldn't count on it though.

Woke up this morning to the Ford tracker and Ordertrack.app showing that the car's In Transit! Hopefully just a short day or two in convoy and it'll be here!

Ended up hearing from my dealer, they told me that United Road already has a pickup order for it. That was enough for me to be able to search my VIN through UR, and sure enough, I now have tracking info for it once it actually gets loaded. Turns out it IS going to be convoy and I'll get to...

If you get additional cosmetics, like stripes, those are likely applied after initial build, on a new line. So it might take an extra day or two (best case) before release and for the tracker to show as built.

They also said that it'll likely go by rail to VA, but he wasn't 100% sure until it actually gets scheduled for shipment. I've noticed that Mustangs down in Richmond, VA and south/east show Rail on their window stickers, but my dealer, my sticker, and other dealers in central VA...

Connected with Ford Performance chat this morning - they're absolutely awesome with updates. Found out that my shipping window has definitely pushed to 8/26 - 9/1, but that 9/1 might be a stretch and to check back next week. Bummer update, awesome service.

Definitely feels like chance. Tomorrow's the end of my first delivery window and I've not heard anything or seen a status change - and that's just by convoy to central VA, not even rail.

Also in delivery waiting mode - got the email last week, still in the window. Delivery window ends on Thursday for my convoy, expecting it to push another week.

Alright, here's the real test. Got my delivery email from Ford, and they're saying it would be in Central VA as soon as this Friday (8/19-8/25). Given that everyone else is pushing out, we'll see if it sticks. Window sticker says convoy, maybe I'm going to get lucky.

Officially built! Just waiting on shipping info now.
