Around town I rarely push the boost but yes whipple has a bypass valve to keep thing more streetable.

So if been down the 1/4 a few times now all at a no prep racing events. So far my best is 11.@136 on a 2.03 60ft rolling into the go pedal. I icked up 38 mpg on the top end. That is on the ps4s 275s thay come stock on the non HP.

I have just finished the install of the stop the hop basic drag package and 3 boxes from lmr just arrived which I will assume is the drag pack I ordered.

I am getting ready for the MM&FF event that we host yearly in Nor Cal where I expect to go 10.5 or quicker due to the previous MPH.

I'm sure you guys may have questions feel free to ask.
I'll see you next weekend at Sac Raceway. Can't wait to see that bad boy run!

Yes. On 100 octane. Not gonna chance it on our crappy 91 here. The car kept adding timing all the way to redline. I'm fuel or redline limited on power at this point on the whipple tune. That's also through the stock cats.
thats impressive on the stock whipple tune! Now youve got me thinking 🤔
Keep the whipple tune for regular street driving and have it professionally tuned for track and/or strip

Once you move to a custom tune you lose out on the whipple tune. You'll need to change out the iat2 sensor and buy a new obd tool to read the pcm along with injectors and return fuel system.

oh bummer - the injectors from the kit arent large enough to handle additional power? I really am not educated enough on return style fuel systems either. I know the kit came with a new fuel pump

Yes. You'll need 1000cc injectors and a return style fuel system. The dw400 pump is good but for e85 and big power you'll need a dual pump system.

You may find someone to tune on 91/93 with the current fuel pump and injectors but will only see minimal gains over the whipple tune.

So far I really like it. Unfortunately I am not driving it enough as I only have (a little less than) 500 miles on the car in total. I'm "not allowed" to pass 5,500 RPM or so until 1,000 miles.
I really am liking the 'bypass' valve in the Whipple tune. no noticeable boost until 3,500 then WHAM! (like the 60-70 Batman show with Adam West) You are pressed into the seat! The drivability is sweet, no issues at all and the tamer style driving (min. boost) under 3,500 is an unexpected pleasure.

Thanks Mike, I bet it is a good rush. Are you using the factory wide band and do you have a boost gauge? keep the group posted on your adventures.

I dont know what you mean by factory wide band?
I dont have a boost gauge
When I have something a little more interesting than driving between idle and 5,500 rpm, I will give an update :)

I’m referring to the digital air fuel ratio gauge. Thanks again Mike, I’m just thinking of where I would put more gauges.

Doesnt Raxiom make something that goes into the A/C vent?

Yes, and someone on here sells 3d printed ones. I will worry about that when the time comes. Thanks again for starting this thread Mike, its good information for guys like me looking at replicating your setup.

I like that gauge, I see it on A.M. for $450. A little pricey but I may grab one
