So after almost 2 years of owning my first S550, I went out and traded it in for a 2022 GT Premium in Dark Matter Metallic Grey, 401A package and all this car is perfect and feels more complete then my previous base model GT. For those wondering on what color to look into Dark Matter Metallic is definately my favorite of the neutrals that ford has atm.

Although I’ve had the car for 2 weeks, the only mods so far have been the STO and show license plate frame, diode dynamics interior LED bulbs and a weighted shift knob. If you’re in your first s550 I highly recommend the diode dynamics kit. Ford stupidly equips these cars standard with halogen bulbs for the map and vanity lights, although on a premium GT you have color changing LED’s. It makes the car for more “premium” and less like a cheap American car. Also I’ve driven stick since I started driving 6 years ago and can confidently say that the weighted shift knob is such a great addition. Although they’re expensive I went with a raceseng Ashiko in flat black, it weighs around a pound and a half and makes shifting much more firm and well heavier. Hoping to combine the shift knob with a short throw down the line as well to complete the feel.

Thankyou! It’s a nice color change from my previous Shadow Black GT, this new color reminds me a lot of my first car which was an 03 dark shadow grey GT

Just had the car tinted today, if your looking for an inexpensive “mod” to change the look of your car, tints do the job great, and function wise will keep our heat in the car since I went the ceramic route.

Installed some lighting upgrades today, plate lights, side markers and reverse LED’s gives the car a more premium feel. And will help assist when reversing now with tints. Morimoto side markers and plate lights for those wondering, believe diode dynamics makes the reverse light. Fitment is great too.

Well I couldn’t hold myself to waiting any longer, stock exhaust sounds great but going from borla Ataks on my last gen 3, I needed some more volume. Switched it up and went with the corsa extremes. Can confidently say it is the best sounding car I’ve owned. Still have stock headers/cats but really great sound and in comparison to the Ataks, it is a little quieter down low in comparison but opens up in the higher RPM’s nicely.

Going through an Aero Phase and decided to install both RTR’s front chin spoiler and side skirts, couldn’t choose a chin spoiler for a while but glad I decided to go with RTR’s. Very easy install, high quality piece fitment is awesome. Def gives the car a more aggressive demeanor. Next up lowering springs, rear spoiler and wheels.

Went ahead and threw on eibech pro lowering springs, definately made a huge difference in the look and feel of the car. Much less body roll and the car feels much more planted. Highly recommend, just don’t try using a wall mounted spring compressor like most shops have for the front struts. You will need a spring compressor you use by tightening down on the two clamps. springs are too short for your regular shop compressor that we use at our dealer. Other than that super easy install that even non technicians can do themselves imo. Just be careful as coil springs are dangerous if you do not take proper precautions.

Nice, while I was looking thru the post the first time I said to myself, "all that cars needs left is wheels", nicely done. IMO it looks clean just the way it is, loved the lower rear spoiler originally on there. Don t go further on the outside appearance or they tend to look Hondaish, LOL.
Good luck!!!

Yup I’m not really touching anything exterior wise, I’d love to do a Mach 1 bumper I feel like it feels much more GT than the stock GT/eco boost bumpers. But outside of that everything else is staying as is

Nice. I would recommend Pacing yourself on future mods, you will find out quickly, it's an addiction which demands to fed. Have fun
