So I know about the “tick” and a lot of guys say 5w30 can prevent it or take it away. I saw that on the oil caps of the 2021’s it says SW 5w30 now instead of 20. Anyone know of why the change?? I’m just curious

Nothing gets the panties in a twist quite like an oil debate. I'm guessing that with the F150 'Cylinder on Demand' that was enough to meet CAFE standards, and because F150 vastly outsell Mustang GT's, the whole fleetwide averages met CAFE and Ford said fuck it, 5w30 for the Mustang GT it is so the peeps on M6G won't constantly debate it. Haha.
