I bought a new SCT X4 tuner - I have had these in the past, one for my 2014 GT, and then another one for my 2015 GT - Both of those had "canned tunes" loaded on the device from SCT.

This new tuner has nothing loaded - I was told that SCT no longer provides any canned tunes at all, and I will have to source a tune on my own. So, are there any reputable "email tune" providers out there? Any other suggestions?

I know dyno tuning is always an option....but just not so sure that I want to get that crazy with it yet. Looking for a 93 performance tune and/or a flex fuel/e85 tune. Also have a GT350 airbox I might want to use. Any suggestions?

I believe Lund Racing can still tune on the X4. I'd shoot them an email and see what they say.

I would never recommend running the canned tunes that come on the device anyway. They should only be used as a tool to load custom tunes or to log. AED is one of the major tuners that will still tune on the SCT platform. But I would wait until you add mods to maximize gains. Like changing fuel to e85 or adding long tubes. Unless you have a base car with no drive modes and 3.15 gears. Then even a tune with no mods will wake it up. But would still advise to tune for mods at the same time.

My car is a base 300A car with 3.15 gears, A10 - but now it has drive modes - that alone - normal vs. sport vs. sport plus, vs. track - those drive modes basically give me what I would have gained out of a "mild tune" 10-20 years ago, IMO....

Now would an E85 tune be beneficial on my car otherwise leaving everything as-is?

100% e85 tune by itself is the best bang for your buck out there for 18+ cars, especially since you already have the handheld tuner. As long as you have e85 accessible in your area. You could consider getting a flex tune as well if you need to run 91/93 you can on the same tune without switching tunes. But you are probably talking 30-40whp with no other mods. More if you add long tubes at the same time. Will give the 3.15 more down low torque as well.

100% agree with AZ above. Besides boost, no other mod will give you more bang for the buck than a flex/e85 tune. Unbelievable how much of a difference it makes on these Gen 3 motors. Easy 30-40rwhp with fuel....

If you are looking for a tune, hit us up! We have been tuning the coyotes for a long time and have done alot of combos both remotely and on the dyno.

We can tune for e85/flex tunes, intakes, cold air, etc, etc. We offer free revisions to people who own our tuners.

A lot of tuners have steered away from using the SCT devices and are now only tuning on HPTuners. However, companies like 5Star Tuning and Li Tuning can tune with the SCT device still. If you are looking for a Lund Racing or Palm Beach Dyno tune you would have to switch to a HP Tuners RTD or MPVI2+. I can get you taken care of on a tune or device here from www.lethalperformance.com or feel free to message me and I can answer any questions you may have. #TEAMLETHAL https://www.lethalperformance.com/s...-2019-ford-mustang-gt-coyote/custom-tunes-2-1
