Does the 2020 MT82 have the revised shift fork? You’d think Ford would have built it with the better revised shift fork. I can’t find info on the 2020’s

Hope I’m not intruding asking this in here but sort of related. Say you have an early 2018 that somehow hasn’t broken its MT-82 yet. When/if it does break, according to all the TSBs, you should get one of these updated ones?

I have read horror stories of it taking forever to get the transmissions replaced and updated due to high demand for replacements and supply chain issues.

Very interesting to read about these MT-82s. I have learned a lot. This is the first I’ve heard of the 2021s being made in the USA.

You'd get a revised one, yes. They aren't making the 2018 version of the D4 anymore.

And the USA thing is unconfirmed, I'm just going off a different thread on here where the person posted the "origin" paper you get that shows where the components are made. Showed the transmission as USA made instead of China. But he didn't prove that he had an M6 car so as I said, can't confirm 100%.

Appreciate the info! It's funny because I want mine to break to get the updated one, but at the same point I don't want to be without the car working for like a month or so like I've seen some people have. I definitely have powertrain issues with mine, but it's not bad enough yet that any dealer is willing to help me.
