Normally it gets trucked to a nearby automotive railyard for shipment by rail. They seem to go this route when there is to much congestion at the Flat Rock railyard. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. Some of the members had trouble at the New Boston railyard when someone dropped the ball and didn't supply the railroad with the shipping orders and the cars sat their waiting for orders that may not have come without one of the members raising enough hell to get their attention. Hopefully that won't happen again, thanks to Tom.

ATTENTION: For those of you waiting for a VIN.

We are getting down to the short strokes with the VINs.

I need some help from the following members below to make sure I have the information I need to ID their VINs when they get issued.

Please send me a P.M with your Order number and Dealers name, city and state.

Please make sure the dealer is the original allocated dealer, if the dealer you ordered your car from bought the allocation from another dealer, then only that dealers information will be attached to the VIN.

If your name isn't on the list, you are good to go.

If your name is not on the list and you want to get on the list, send me a PM with the above information and I will put you on the watch list.

I mainly posted to see if it looked legit, with all the question marks surrounding my order

If you can send it to me in a PM, I will look it over. Only problem is that I can't verify dealer because I don't have access to a conversion sheet that coverts the Dealer code to a name and address. But if you are sure that your dealer is the original allocated dealer, you should be alright.

There are still 8 members that are in the same boat and I think everything will work out for you and them. Next week should answer most of the questions.

Once I started recording the VINs, I thought for sure we were going for 5000 today. With a Oct 19th build week, there is room for many more cars than were anticipated. We could easily exceed the projected 5000 original quantity.

I don't think that will happen, mine also got pulled in for an inspection and was released in a day or two and only had 4.6 mile on the odometer when I picked it up.

Mine was picked up at FRAP, for the dealer, by a friend of mine and had 24+ miles on it. Extended factory testing???

Went to see her today. My god this car is a masterpiece. Pictures do not do it justice (Iconic Silver).
I was pleasantly surprised with all the gaps and body lines being so accurate. Will be taking delivery tomorrow so update to come. Didn’t even hear it run as i wanted to save some of the excitement for tomorrow. More to come!
