For any of you guys with completed cars, awaiting shipment, there's not much good news. I checked with
Ford Perf. by email & this was Tony's reply:
I did check myself and the car is released (as of March 22nd). Being still at the plant without an assignment, I do not know if this vehicle is going to ship or be waiting for the plant to open. All North American Ford plants are closed down at this time and I don’t think Flat Rock is slated to open until after April 20th. This may be subject to change depending on how the Corona Virus behaves.
I would give us a check back in a week or two and see if it has started to move. If we don’t see any movement, I would anticipate it being there until the plant re-opens.
I'm having a wonderful vision of my car sitting in that large lot, north of the FRAP during hail season in the
midwest. This makes the part 1 guys cars sitting on the trains look kind of tame.
I think everyone should expect at least 30 days to be added to your build dates.
