I heard that there was a small volunteer group that was still working in the Mod Shop trying to get as many CFTP and base cars with vinyl stripes done before they have to shutdown. If it goes to Penske, its status will change to Released to Body Company.

The standard seats are black leather with perforated seating area back and seat for the headed and cooled areas.

Thanks for the seat pics. I did not like the seats in the gt350 I had with the Miko Suede inserts. Thought I read in the job 2 after a certain date they were going to use the Miko suede. Hope mine are the same.

This Cobra was Snake Bitten from the beginning. This virus kind of puts things into perspective.

Shout out to the Ford workers impacted by the layoff. Hoping this is a short layoff and that Ford or the Government makes things easier for you all financially.

They are collecting unemployment and will be receiving government checks. That was what I was told in a conversation yesterday.

A week ago, the Ford tracking site had me listed as an ETA of 22 days to delivery. Each day, including today, it has counted down to 15 days.
Looks like everybody walked out and left the lights...., I mean the computers running.

That's true, but anyone who has ever worked with at least one other person, knows that the other person is probably living from one pay check to the next and doesn't have much wiggle room financially. This is not a good time for anyone who doesn't have any rainy day savings.
I hope these layoffs in all the sectors are short and this virus has a louder bark than bite.

Mel: Earl may verify this for me but I believe the ETA business is just a routine to help the customer's stress. But my experience with it is, it was useless.

It would appear that all that is behind this is a little routine that runs every time you login with your VIN. Then, it does some simple calendar math based on a system-produced enddate, and bingo, you get an ETA. I suppose it's fine when it's in the double digits but for mine, when it got down to zero it started counting backwards and others reported the same thing. Not much help, sorry to say.

I just got back from a ride in the new car and when I got back and did a walkaround I noticed that there is nothing on the outside of the car that says GT500, only 4 snakes and the one mention of Shelby on the front splitter, no other mentions of Shelby on the rest of the car. GT500 is mentioned 1 time on the Chassis plate on the dash and 1 once on the engine. I never noticed that before I got the car.
