Earl, I seem to recall cars were going to Penske in various stages of production. Some didn't have wings installed and still had factory roller wheels on. Do you suppose that the reason for the hold when cars return from penske is due to cars having to go to the mod shop upon return?

Just a thought

Been trying to adjust the hood alignment with front bumper and can't get it to go down far enough, even after the rubber adjust is down all the way. Can the hood pin be adjusted also?

Any Lagavulin 16?
That made me chuckle, dude. :-) I loved that single malt but it's pricey. The first time I bought some, the wife actually thought she smelled smoke in the house. <grinning>

David: Good morning and, you're obviously more picky about fitment, <smiling> as I didn't notice a big difference.

I'm not a body guy so I don't know if the pins are adjustable but I'm gonna guess not.

Good morning Kent, I am very picky about fit, been detailing for a whole day. Love this car and it showed up clean thanks to you :clap: .

I’m friend in the know tells me the CFTP cars go to Penske for stripes first, then the MOD shop. They don’t want to remove the wing at Penske.

I wondered about that myself John, how WOULD they paint it without removing the wing? Now it makes sense, thanks to your friend.
It always bothered me as well. I appreciated finding out the truth.

It’s also my understanding Flat Rock is building 350 cars per day right now. Of those, 60 are Shelby’s of some type (350, 500, or Heritage). Pre C19, they were building 900 cars per day. Interesting data.

That would make sense, but the cars being transported usually have the wing attached.

John, See if your friend knows anything about the shipping spacer issue.

Hey @Snoopy49, FYI
