According to verifiable insiders, its a color issue. Those of you with 10+11dates are likely good, us with silver and lesser chosen colors are going to be the 2nd blast, hence 12/2
Isn’t the 2020 gt350’s offered in same color’s? They are being built and delivered. Although I’ve only seen black ones.

Ford will not release the GT500 until the performance vehicle delivers as advertised. And clearly they are not ready yet. Regardless, I am told that customers will be very pleased when they finally do receive their order.

Despite the time spent, I don't see any correlation between dates and colors. With the exception of the one Velocity Blue car, the other colors are represented in both the early and later date groups. Gotta be something else.

#930 and I just moved to 12/9/2019 from 11/11/2019. Seems like something is up when I dropped over 4 weeks like that. Quote from Noah today: "wow, this is the latest I've seen".......hopes for this year dashed now.

It doesn't have to be a color specifically, but rather the painting process itself. Some colors are 4-part, others are probably just 2-part. If anything white, black and magnetic(?) are easiest to produce and may indeed jump to the head of the queue. The problem with any sort of analysis is that the self-reported dates are inconsistent and nobody knows on what basis Ford is jiggering the numbers and what their sorting logic is either.

So, your "verifiable insider" tells you that the huge pushback in production is due to a color issue? And you actually believe this?

You are being toyed with, son. And your insider has no credibility.

So you’re telling us that the car is being tweaked? You know that the first customer car is built right?

it’s going to be at the dealer in 7-8 days.

Sucks to be pushed back, but otoh this may be good news for buyers as a whole. Remember we originally thought production would cease before thanksgiving and resume in "spring" (I've heard "late spring" from FP). Now it turns out they will be working the assembly line well into December. Perhaps this means they won't cease production at all. After all, if you are making cars in December in Detroit why not Jan and Feb too?

I think Ford will produce GT500's through all of winter. The CFTP cars, maybe not. Just like the R of the past few years, since the Cup 2 tires are far more sensitive to the cold than the PS4S tires.

Are you speaking of the Craig Jackson car namely chassis #0001?

Correct.

I was implying that they wouldn’t bring that car back for special recalibrarions of the tuning software for engine, trans, and suspension after delivery.
