I DD mine. It's a great car for it, ventilated seats, carplay, automatic, rides nice, sounds nice. Plenty of people daily mustangs. The range is a bigger bummer than the mpg.
Update: It's the transmission cooler. Car will be in the shop another week at least. No loaner either which really sucks - rental for this period is running into the thousands.
Edit: they are replacing the entire cooler which has a week lead time
After 7000 miles my worst fears have come true - my cars stuck in the shop.
Pretty quick drip of oil when the engine is warm, dealer has no idea where it's coming from yet.
I've heard oil leaks are a common issue - anyone have some wisdom for me?
Been looking through this thread, maybe I missed it, but what is everyone doing about the holes left in the OEM trunk from the OEM wing? I'd love a CTFP replica wing but my trunk will have clearly visible holes in the centerline.
Such a great description. Every other car on the road seems stationary... pulling onto the highway or pulling out of a parking lot is the same for this car.
How long does it take to download over wifi, and do I have to keep the car on/keys in the whole time?
Gave it 10 min and saw 0 progress on the download so I'm not sure if keeping it on and downloading for potential hours is a good idea.
Having something to block the front rocker aka pebble magnet is mandatory for this car, imo. With nothing there to block, ALL debris on the road is thrown up right near the passenger door. the rock build up is very loud at any speed and very noticeable when looking at the car.
Right now I have...
Damn! Gives the engine a "third leg" for sure.
Do you think you need software updates to take advantage of the increased flow? Also, how does it affect the engine noise / SC whine?
This is my 2nd DCT car and I have noticed the same thing, definitely a "blip" and small jerk as the GT500 slows down in the gears you are talking about.
My S4 did the exact same thing when it was in "sport" mode, so I am 100% not concerned and am simply enjoying the throttle blips. Little...
If these turn out anything like the rok blokz except made to fit on our cars I can't wait! I'm not local though so someone else get on it!
Car shops are essential right?
XPEL has a new product, it's basically matte black PPF. Might be worth checking out if the roof color is all you need.
If I had known about it sooner I would have used it instead of vinyl for my stripes.
