So a little info on my setup. Gen 3 car with 10r80, ESS on E85. Car has been on this setup for a year with absolutely ZERO issues and has never thrown a code. The other night i changed my filter due to it being old and dirty, and filled up with E85. I then made a real quick hit out of the gas station to heat the tires, as I was about to do a 60-130 test, and my car threw a P2BED-Fuel system too lean bank 2, code. Car had zero hiccups, so i cleared it and decided not to make a hit. I messaged my tuner(wengerd) and he stated the only time he ever sees that code is when you fill up and make a hit before the computer can read the new ethanol content. Car has been running fine since, however threw the code one more time after maybe a 50% throttle car pass on the street. same code, no issues, cleared it, and have not seen the code since. Does anyon else have any experience with this? from what i am reading it could be a bad fuel pump, vaccum leak, or exactly what Wengerd said. The second code is what is throwing me for a loop though. Car is rarely beat on(once or twice a year), and the only thing that i did differently recently was remove the intake tube pipe to replace the filter. I know that forum car diagnosing is damn near useless, but im just looking for other peoples experiences with the same issue. Thanks!
