2020 "Base" GT350R?

I'm not sure if it's been already mentioned elsewhere on this post or forums, can you briefly tell us/me why the base model was discontinued starting in 2019MY. Thank you.

The Base model didn't have a screen on the dashboard, and in 2018 the backup camera became law, so they were forced to add a screen and that was the end of the Base model.

Pre 2018 (and maybe post 2018, not sure) you could buy a ford with the back up camera screen installed in the rearview mirror. What's preventing them from doing this now on the GT350?

It would have been nice if a screen was added just for the backup camera on a Base R model and without adding all of the other ~13 delete items for a Base R but suggest that with very little demand for a non AC, radio, navigation, etc. spec'd out car it not make much sense to go that direction.
