2019 - Velocity blue

The LB is definitely darker than the VB.

Yeah, I guess it's because of the clouds but LB looks dark like that on a cloudy day too.

Either way. Why have two colors that look almost exactly alike?

Well, LB is discontinued so there will not be two colors. People are trying to see if they like VB compared to LB. Unfortunately those pictures don't really help because the lighting is so different. Clearly VB is lighter, but it's hard to tell how much lighter. It's also hard to gauge the level of metallic flake.

Oh it is for 19? I didn't know that.

Well that makes more sense why they would come out with this color. But again it looks so much like LB in those pics. Why even make it.

Definitely going to need to see these colors side by side in one picture to judge. The metallic hues makes it hard to really see any difference because any slight variation in lightning conditions is going to change how they both look.

Either way I cannot get this color on a GT/CS unlike you could with 16/17 LB

Just looks like a lighter lighting blue..

Not a bad thing, but what's the point?

Well they discontinued Lightning Blue for 2019 and clearly they like making blues, I don't see an issue with it - love my color though!

When LB came out I thought it was just a tad darker than I liked, but it has grown on me. Now VB looks a tad lighter than I like. Hmm...maybe it's me.
