Only reason I bought Magnetic was because my 06 was blue and I wanted to mix things up. But damn if Velocity was available in 18 I might have gone with it - beautiful color.

I have magnetic, and I like it, but if I had found the exact same car at the same price etc. in velocity blue I would have got the blue. I have owned a lot of neutral colored cars (white, black, grey) and was looking for some color. The red accent stripes add just enough and I'm happy with what I got. My wife likes magnetic better, says it looks more mature.

VB in sun light............:like: BTW, this is a PP1 and I didn’t want the hassle of cleaning 30 holes each in the black honeycomb wheels. (OCD for life)

Haha! I love my black wheels, but cleaning them is such a pain in the ass. I feel like they scratch easily too.

I didn’t think I’d like magnetic until I found this one. It looks so smooth in real life, and I’m pushing 40 yo and it seems like the more adult color combo imo.

Magnetic is one of the reasons I bought a Mustang in the first place. I was open-minded enough to also consider a Camaro, but Nightfall Gray just doesn't cut it.

The Mustang is a performance car, it needs an eye catching color. I saw both on the dealer lot side by side. My impressions on both:

MM = In the sun, absolutely stunning with a lot of reflective particles in the paint. Like a true old-school metallic. It takes on a darker appearance quickly as light levels drop. So on overcast days it may appear boring. This paint goes great with almost any accent color and you can really dress this one up with stripes etc.
VB = This paint is ever so slightly pearlescent (no large metallic flecks) with a bit of a chameleon effect to it. The color gets brighter in the sun and slightly darker in the shady spots. This highlights the contours on the car very well. The color is a great contrast to the black accents.

You can't go wrong with either color. Go with the one that speaks to you the most . Ignore which one is going to get dirty, swirly, or compliment the scenery. You're going to want to wash it and take care of it. So choose the paint you like the best and enjoy.

I went with the VB.

I went with the VB also. Love the contrast with the nickel 5 twin spoke wheels. Now I looking at the SS window trim to really make it pop! Sorry for the lousy pic. This was the day I picked it up.
