2019 Seats Swap - From Recaro leather to 401A stock? Feasibility? Ease?

I have a line on a 2019 GT, but the seats are the Recaro leather version. I drove a Bullitt with the same and was not at all pleased with the adjustability or comfort. Has anyone changed from Recaro back to a 401a leather seat? Can it be done? Is the seat wiring harness already in the car unused, or does it need to be added? Where did you source the 401a seats? Gracias.

I love the Recaro's personally. I drove an EcoBoost Premium with the regular seats and my ass slid all over when cornering. Give me the bolstering of the Recaro's!

If you get an OEM seat it’ll have all the connectors and in that case, it’s an easy swap.

just a fyi, seats get expensive quick. Try a local dismantler. They’re usually half price of new.

originally dual power non heat non cool cloth - OEM take off leather installed last July, along with leather seat belt straps - they are in excellent condition

imjusr looked up 401a - yes - it would appear that with the addition of factory
leather, I have basically replicated what that would be, less heating and cooling - although I saw no mention of heated or cooled with 401a, only leather.

Cooled & Heated Leather seats are part of the standard 400a for premium cars.
