2019+ radio install help please...

Ok I had an older mustang before (a 2015) kept the scosche fd6210b install kit however a bit of a snag on the backup (reversing camera)... I also have a new scosche unit coming as well but in the manual on the 4.2 in screen I should still be hooking up a 12 pin connector... none on the 19+ models with the 4.2in screen... no I never want the sync3 setup...

It's been a while since I pulled my radio out, but isn't the 12 pin connector the one that plugs into the SYNC module?
Also, having the SCOSCHE unit, I wish I had gone with Metra. The touch panels on the Scosche quit working, and they won't sell me replacement parts.
