Would you sell the DSS Half shafts separate ? If so how much
Well they brand new in the box. Don’t need to sell em and if I can track down a 3.15 center section, they are going in.

As another owner a Gen 3 you are wrong man. Those OPGs will get you and need to be replaced before putting out real power in a forced induction build.

Speaking from experience and the 15k+ I am spending to fix mine.
Couldn't be more wrong and I'm so sick of people using anecdotal evidence to not just justify their decisions, but tell others THEY are wrong.

OPG and sprocket failure rate is not statistically significant to warrant 'insurance' unless you are operating on the assumption that you are in the vast minority (and no, not minority as in 40%, much, much less).

You want to do OPG/sprocket change out because you're concerned? Awesome. Go for it.

You want to tell others they are wrong for not doing it on a F/I build and that they are 'going to get you'...nah, my guy - you're wrong. Stop fear mongering and be smarter about your phrasing.

Do what you want man. Every person I have met who is pushing 1000+ HP out of these things will tell you hands down that OPGs are a must.

There is a grand canyon wide difference between throwing a Whipple on your car and putting out 700 to 800 hp and pushing 20 pounds of boost into this engine at 8500 RPMs.

You will be fine with stock gears on a moderate setup. I specifically said when putting out real power. I should have worded that better and said HIGH power and high RPMs.
