Ordered my first new Mustang 5 weeks ago. Told 8 to 10 weeks. nothing shows up on Cotus:
GT premium IS 401A A10 PP1 S&S Security AE MagSusp B&O SD w/X-Plan
So I guess lead time was just a dealer lie

Maybe, maybe not. Were you told 8 to 10 weeks before, or after, you told them what you wanted to order.
I was told 8 to 12 weeks and got my car in 9 1/2 weeks, 10 to 12 is pretty typical lately unless you want magnaride.

I was told after ordering. Reading up on the forums here it seems that early July orders are seeing mid October dates so I am guessing I won't see mine until end of Oct or sometime in Nov. Salesman told me priority code is 19, which he claims means absolutely nothing.

Yeah, he probably shouldn't have told you 8 to 10 if you'd already told him you wanted magnaride. That was already becoming an issue back when you ordered.
If priority means nothing, why not bump you up to 11?

I wouldn't expect an average sales guy to know much about magneride unless they've been with a ford dealer for a while. In general, it seems that 8-12 weeks seems to be the guidance supplied to dealers by ford, since thats what i was quoted as well. (I'll probably get mine at week 14-15)

there are limited quantities available from the manufacturer of the components (Delphi?), so sometimes there is short supply causing MR orders to take longer.

Ordered 7/14 with MagneRide. My dealer was told by the factory rep that it would be built in Nov.

Ordered 6/21, the automatic COTUS checker just emailed me this afternoon at 3:02 pm that the status changed to in production... then, exactly six hours later at 9:02 pm it emailed me again that the sticker is now available.

Things are getting exciting!

Hey everyone my first post! I have a '19 GT Premium, 401A, PP2, Act-Exhaust, B&O, and Midnight interior on order. Ordered 7/28 and it looks like I checked all the boxes to be in the dog house until November or beyond? Nothing in COTUS still, but guess I will wait for perfection! :please:
Dealer confirmed the Magna shortage as well. Said it was the flood of Bullitts that caused this. :inspect:

12 days later and my car is still sitting in a railyard! August 15th it was in a railyard in NY, and here it is 12 days later and cotus hasnt updated and chat and my dealer can’t see any movement. What is going on?

I'm in the exact same boat. My car has been at the rail yard since August 17th waiting for it to be spotted for transport to the dealer 20 miles away. My dealer says it's not uncommon for them to sit in the unloading lot for a while. It's still quite frustrating though.

I'm in the same (lost) boat. Now almost 3 weeks in 'Awaiting Shipment'. COTUS has shown 2 EDDs and the latest one just went to ZERO days and still awaiting shipment. Dealer has no clue either. Getting old in a hurry...
