Do you have a plan for the smog test? Did you ever get pulled over for a loud exhaust and mods? I got pulled over last weekend in Newport and my exhaust is stock....cop said track mode was too loud. It is actually not legal in some areas according to the manual and the message that pops up....didn't think I would ever need to talk to a cop about it though

I haven't had any issues from cops here in San Diego. I have a few more years till I have to get it smogged. I think my only options are selling it, keeping it as an off road, adding high flow cats and making a few changes to make it street legal, assuming Whipple makes mine legal through the EPA.

well....yes and no. The current owner is supposed to get it smogged before transfer of title - and if that doesn't occur the new owner will still need to in order to get registration. Also, high flow cats and whatever whipple does or does not do will not make the car carb legal. Anything besides stock manifolds and cats + stock tune (or a carb legal tune from whipple, roush, etc.) and the car is no longer carb compliant.
I am just curious because, although your car is awesome, I would not buy it since I live here in Cali. The same reason I will never be doing LTs, cam, etc. on my daily driven car even though I really want to

Not sure how long a stock exhaust, cat would last. Mine blew out in a few days. Yea you need a Whipple tune, specific pulley size, injectors, etc. I have all the stock parts except the exhaust of course. I thought about maybe going back to stock then selling the Whipple stuff but I don't think it's worth it. At least for now.
But yea no problems with cops or anything.

In case anyone is interested. Some slippage on the dyno because of the rear tires.

I'm guessing you put it on there with the forgestars o_O... Amazing that PK lets folks do that, it can go so horribly wrong if it goes wrong.

I am interested now that it isn't space colored :D. What is the condition of the paint without the wrap? Any unsightly knife marks from the wrap other than the line on the side view mirror?

The paint is fine except for the front bumper/grille and the hood scoops. I have videos and pictures of them. There's little faded orange drops. The guy who did the plastidip didn't put a thick enough base in some areas so it some spots faded through.

I'll likely have to chop the hood up or go with a vented carbon setup so not too worried there... It is unfortunate that the bumper and grill are clapped up, but not the end of the world.

Shoot me a DM with what your comfort zone on price is and lets see if we can make a deal on the beast.
