if you ever blow the b/o or get curious about more bass, Crutchfield has 30 days guarantee, now questions asked. you'd just pay 7 bucks to return it, no restock fees

could order 10Tw3 and swap them out, and see the sound difference.
its 300 bucks, but... the tw3' series are amazing

I'm selling my new JL Audio 10W1v3-4 that will make you throw that B&O away.

I was unaware that the w1 would fit in that, I was thinking it was TW1.

must be larger enclosure than the shaker boxes ive seen. I think that has a cool look to it.

The Shaker had an 8" and the B&O has a 10".

I would prefer a single unit & while I can't seem to confirm anywhere, it seems that 300 watts is more than I'll need for that factory B&O 10" Subwoofer anyway.
If your amp gain is set properly, the amp will only put out the 300 watts at maximum unclipped volume. Your ears will probably give out before then.

I could really use some help fellas. As the title states we have a 2019 GT with an 8" touchscreen and the 9 speaker option. There is also an Amp mounted in the upper left corner of the drivers side footwell. However, we do NOT have the factory Subwoofer in the right corner of the trunk.

I recently purchased a factory B&O (seems from reading here) 10" Sub and the required Bracket to mount same in our trunk. While my previous career was in automotive tech and I can install my own Lowering Kit, Supercharger, Tuning, etc., i'll admit I am not a stereo guy and need some help.

FYI, the 18-20 Subwoofer looks different than the previous 15-17 version and it seems there's other wiring differences too. This pertains to a 2019. I believe I'll have everything worked out reference getting this baby to work. PlugnPlay makes a Harness and has various options to get a LC2i and Amp going easily.

* Here's my questions and current dilemma...
Can someone please tell me what OHM and Watts RMS this factory Subwoofer operates at & where/how you figured it out ??

I have even taken the Subwoofer apart and only explained the 4 wires, I believe its a dual voice coil, as all 4 wires go to the speaker. The green/black & purple/yellow wires go together. I have p/n's from the Subwoofer, KR3T-19A067-AF (white label on housing). The only thing printed on the Sub itself is 4265000301A & 190409, on the paper of the speaker itself. Also the following on the magnet; 7965001301A, FLEX1, 23519, 15:53:26 MXZ, but unfortunately these have not helped me in any way. The p/n on my Amp is HR3T-18T806-AB

Did you purchase the B&O from a dealership?
I've searched parts.ford.com for KR3T-19A067-AF and it points me to the 8" Shaker sub diagram part# 18808F.
Untitled.jpg

The description says "Subwoofer Speaker, 03/18/2019, Mustang, Coupe, Flatrock Assembly Plant - USA, Branded Audio Sound System". (They did away with the Shaker in the 19's and up and went to B&O so did they just not update the diagram?)
The guys at the parts counter also can't find the B&O subwoofer and only come up with this 18808F. I don't want to special order this and find out it's the Shaker.
I want to buy a 2nd B&O subwoofer, gut it and stash my stock one for OEM purposes.
No luck on eBay either.
Thanks

No, I purchased it "like new" from a young guy who bought a Mustang & the factory Sub wasn't enough for him. Yes, ours is a B&O. As long as it tucks in the pocket of the s550, then it's a B&O. The old Shaker Sub's are big/blocky looking...lol

The 15's thru 18's are Shakers and will fit but they're only 8" otherwise I'd buy one of those and gut it.
Well, the search goes on. Thanks

Thought I'd post a few Pic's of the install, I did in January, but forgot to post em....lol
Definitely adds some Bass, but NOT amazing. Wife's much happier & that's all that matters.

Did you tap the rear deck speakers for the speaker inputs to the ACM?

Nope, as I stated in the Thread, I ordered a direct fit Harness from plugnplaykits.com which simply plugged in at the factory Amp, above the driver's feet. Check their website for your cars application @ plugnplaykits.com
