This is an update to an old recall. 2019’s are not effected.

It's only serious enough if your passenger falls out and rolls into traffic....

On a serious note, here's a pdf that may help with your concerns. Most door latch issues are due to the misalignment of the door and/or striker. It can be remedied by a DIY attempt at home using the pdf in this thread (applies to both doors):

I don't see anything online anywhere that there is a door latch recall for 2019's. For the 2015-2017's there were (3) recalls:
Recall 15S16
Recall 16S30
Recall 20S30

I took my 15 in for that recall and they fu@ked up the tint, the door panel now is rattles and they sent me another recall saying that they might not have fixed the recall correctly the last time. I’m not taking it back

Bob, @Cobra Jet link is for door adjustment. Your car is not included in the recall so stop worrying.

I had a 15’ EB and after reading the horror stories about damage done during repairs decided not to bring mine in. Never had a problem.

Stories like yours is what kept me from bringing mine in.

I called the dealer yesterday. After talking with them, I decided I won’t bother bringing it in. She mentioned something about a clicking sound, which my car does not have.

Also, the notice on my FordPass app is for a FSA, Ford Service Action, not a recall.

I just saw in my FordPass that too I have a door latch recall for my 2021 Mustang GT convertible. I googled it and there’s no recent news of any new door latch recalls in 2021/2022. My vert is sleeping for the winter and it just snowed a ton, so I’ll have to wait a few months to take her in.

No, no, no, no…….The recall was for 2015’s. This notification was just an extension of the original recall. Your 21‘s is just fine.
