Hmm, they're all a bit OTT for me, all except Sean Smith's one.

Strange how none of them have gone for new front fascias. I appreciate most have grown to like.....or at least accept the '18 front end, but I seem to recall the S197 got a lot of reworking on SEMA builds.

Personally, I'd like to see someone make a for real attempt at a front fascia that serves aesthetics but also improves function. For example, those who race put a bolt load of coolers on their cars. After seeing a ZR1 up close at the track, that front end is riddled with coolers, literally left to right coolers rather than sandwiching them like we do. The ZR1 front fascia is nice looking as well as functional to support all those coolers. I'm sure with some tweaks, you could keep the front looking the same-ish and allow for mounting of coolers and ducts to keep things cool at the track. Hell, with the right person, you might even make it look badass and functional.

Can Ford limit what they're able to do or show on these builds? Even with the 15-17 there was more variation, but with the facelift it is just plastic pieces thrown in some places.

I think this might have to do with the increased use of ADAS systems and the sensors they require in the lower bumper. Liability issues might occur when you redesign the bumper cover and someone gets killed because for example the ADAS system didn't automatically brake in time.

So far only Saleen and Shelby have introduced new 2018 front bumper covers and they look a hell of a lot better than all this crap combined.

I wonder what's with the fascination with the stupid looking bolt on fender flares?!? Serious question. Do people actually build their cars like that?!?
Damn does that look stupid as all heck, IMHO.

Your right there seems to be a conspiracy going on not to change the front facia.
