A miracle happened, my car went into in transit. New Edd? March 3rd... 1 full month of sitting and half a month to travel. I’m going to be out of town that weekend so fuck me.

That will give the dealership a chance to prep, test drive, and break it in.

An interesting note, the "Awaiting Shipment" date is 1/17 (the date it was produced), not today. Does that mean it'd been loaded onto a rail car and just sitting somewhere in Michigan for a month?

And when I check JCT's tracking site, it says:

Origin Destination Destination Name Freight Bill # VIN Status Document(s)/
Birmingham - null 1108367291 1FA6P8CF2J5131851 Pending


Origin is Birmingham, AL. Does that mean it's in Birmingham? Or does that mean that's where the trucking company will pick it up? I am so confused.

I'd assume the car went by rail from Flat Rock to Birmingham and will go by truck from there to your dealer.

Now if you had bought a Corvette, you could have gone to Bowling Green, KY and picked it up yourself! <sarc>

It really is too bad they don't offer a factory delivery a la corvette or the europeans. I'd totally go for it.

I ended up getting the VIN yesterday and the 3/5 build date I wanted. My EDD is 3/22 which is a lit bit earlier than expected assuming it all goes to plan.

The dealer sent the wrong VIN #. I found my car on COTUS. No build date. The dealer said March 12th. Am I missing the build date on COTUS somewhere?

June 7th is when they stop building 2018s and June 12th is when they start building 2019s.

I'm not sure but my initial impression of all that is that COTUS just wasn't updated and your car has been making it's way to Alabama over the past 4 weeks. Don't want to give false hope but I'd guess your car will show up much sooner than COTUS is saying.

Anything that isn't on Ford's build website will most likely not show up on COTUS since it probably uses the same system. I would suggest to look at the VOC/DORA and also the window sticker once you have access to it.

PP2 doesn't appear. It's a ghost option. We also don't get a stock picture of our exterior. [MENTION=33583]Infidex[/MENTION] who has his PP2 already also doesn't show anything. [MENTION=11611]Nanashii[/MENTION] and @2018pp1?2 also have a blank picture and no PP2 listed. Also us guys who got 301a don't even show cloth recaros so I don't know if my dealer changed them correctly. We should be going into production by the end of the month so we'll see the window stickers. I'm hoping for that green special order sticker.

Good to know! Just wanted to make sure my dealer didn't screw the order up haha
