I love winter weather. Except for when I'm trying to take delivery of a car with summer tires with six inches of snow on the ground.
Finally got mine home on Monday. No pictures yet. We were tied up at the dealership until late Monday. It was well after closing before I finally wrangled a satisfactory offer for my trade out of them. Between work and weather I haven't seen the sunshine since.
With just fifty miles so far I'm loving it. The digital dash and Recaros are awesome. One thing I know for sure is that this color stands out even on the gloomy days.
I can definitely feel the added torque over the '17 EB PP I test drove. I haven't had much opportunity to push it yet but from a few exploratory trips to the top of the rev range it seems like they may have smoothed out the power delivery at the top. It still falls over pretty quickly after the peak but I haven't felt the lumpiness that I did in the '17. Conditions haven't allowed me to hit it very hard yet but I'm cautiously optimistic.
One thing that was a bit of a downer, ironically, is that my wife spotted a Focus ST that she wanted to look at while I was haggling with their appraiser. Turns out that this was a loaded Focus ST which includes leather Recaro seats that are both power adjustable and heated.
Wait, what? How is it that they can put heated power Recaros in a Focus but you have to give up all the goodies and pay $1500 for Recaros in a Premium Mustang?
