Hello everyone. Its been about a month that I have owned my 2018 Mustang GT. At about a week of ownership. I got a check engine light. The code is P0111. The dealership said that ford is aware of the problem but hasn't come up with a solution yet. Well now I have a check engine light and an airbag light on. Are there any mustang owners that have similar issues? What was the outcome? Thanks.

P0111 - Standard OBDII code. Intake Air Temp sensor. "This code means that the PCM saw a larger-than-normal change in a shorter-than-expected time on the IAT signal circuit." That sounds like probably the sensor, and unlikely to be related to the airbag light.

chef wally here I just joined today as I have a 2019 gt pp2 car that I ordered 6 months ago and I got it two weeks ago last Friday I was very impressed with my purchase until yesterday After a 3 hour drive and the running awesome, just passed the 1200 mile mark the check engine light has come on of course I googled the problem as well as looked on youtube I found another car (not a pp2 car) but a gt with exact same thing and like me is waiting for the service department to open tomorrow at 730 to take car in. I am reading a few horror stories however I realize there are a ton of these gt mustang out there (maybe not with the pp2 option) but same base level car and a lot without a single issue So here was my first post I hope my second post will be a positive end to the check engine light being on
