Thanks! I learned two things:
The new 10-speed auto does not support Line Lock (page 29)?
There will later come a Performance Package Level 2 with ebony cloth recaros and 19" Dark Tarnish wheels.

I learned that the MT-82 is basically totally revised, sounds like it should be stronger and smoother.
I can't tell if the gear ratio's are better or worse than the current mt-82 (I'm personally worried about the short 1st gear and 2 over drive gears).
The front suspension sounds like it's totally redone (unless I misread)
The rear suspension sounds updated.
Lots more anti-lift and squat in the suspension geometry overall.
More attention seems to be paid to the aerodynamics.
Peak power is made at much higher revs, both peak HP and TQ. This could be good or bad depending on the torque curve.
All models get quiet glass
The interior sounds like it can be optioned a little nicer than the current model.
Seems like there is the possibility for more digital customization.
87 octane can still be used despite the compression bump.
Overall it seems like there were a lot more updates that I expected.

Are the listed new MT82 gear ratios correct? Or are they listed in error and just copied from the current transmission? They look the same to me.

Great info! Looks like peak power for the V8 is at 7000 RPM.

It appears there are some errors as well.

This info regarding the six speed manual is also interesting.
Why do you feel the information on how DI and PI is used is incorrect?

They are indeed listed as the same as the current MT-82. I suspect there are several errors in the ebook.

HAHA, I love the "overboost" feature.

Available for 15 seconds.

Danger to teh manifolds!

Just saw that the new ecoboost is back to a single exhaust outlet.

Still no information on what the gap under the headlights is for...

Conflicts with the explanation in this: http://blog.caranddriver.com/explained-why-some-engines-have-both-port-and-direct-injection/

Also, regarding the suspension wording in the sourcebook it reads pretty much the same as the original S550 info in the 2015 source book.

Independent MacPherson Strut Front
Suspension
• New perimeter subframe replaces several individual
crossmembers to help stiffen the front structure
while reducing mass, offering more predictable wheel
control
• Provides an enhanced foundation for more
predictable wheel control that benefits handling,
steering and ride
• New lower double ball-joint enables use of larger,
more powerful brakes without resorting to excessive
wheel offsets that would hurt steering feel
• Contributes to improved pitch stability with
additional anti-dive in the geometry
• K-member brace included on all Convertible models
and the GT Performance Package provides additional
chassis stiffness for improved handling
Independent Integral-link Rear Suspension
• All-new rear suspension based on a lower H-arm,
vertical link, upper camber link and toe link
• Geometry, springs, dampers and bushings have been
specifically modified and tuned for Mustang
• Aluminum alloy rear knuckles help reduce unsprung
mass for enhanced ride and handling
• Enhanced anti-squat and anti-lift for improved pitch
control during hard acceleration and braking
The stabilizer bar diameters are the same in the 2015 book.

Since this is written by "marketing" primarily for non technical sales staff at dealerships using a lot of cut and paste I look at it as "nice to know info that might actually be correct". :)

Note that the 10A ratios are almost identical to 10A ratios I've seen in road tests for F150 Raptors and the Camaro 10A so those are probably correct.

Reading over the Performance Pack specs, it doesn't look any different to me. Why the heck did it go up to $3900?

Wow, finally the digital cockpit can show navigation informations!

And nice to read that the triangles in the bumper are functional
