Thanks for the info. I'd thought about plastidipping them but I'd worry the constant contact would eventually rub it off. I'll check into those.
Ya, Plastidip would definitely show wear quickly on a door handle.

For anyone interested I am going to be selling my hood vents. They are already painted magnetic (J7) and covered with Xpel Ultimate PPF. Amazing condition with original box and hardware. PM me if you are interested. Photos attached. I will be listing them in the marketplace in the coming days.

I liked my MMD painted ones, which look good when driving, but exterior wise from top and front view it looked like it was an inlet cover :p So I will revert back to OEM style but with the subtle upgraded look of the RTR version which is raised more and will be dropping them off at the paint shop to replicate my oem vents.

I decided to try out paint matched RTR Hood vents since I do not have a satin or gloss black accent theme going. little more subtle aggressive than stock. I kinda like how the holes are a bit more open and leading edge of vents has a slightly higher rise in front. Not sure the bigger pressure differential exists as claimed by RTR to extract more heat than stock.

Agree with the inlet cover, a flat rectangle blob, just out of place.

If I were king I would incorporated the shutter effect of the 500s. Scale it down, to the size of the vents you removed. .

Can you step back some shoot the whole car. I am interested in these, your post made me look for em.

Thanks in advance, defently have the right finish, glossy and color matched.

Well done

Here's a close up. You can see how large the functional vent is.
Pics honestly don't give the car justice. In person, it looks fantastic.

These are decent , but they should have 4 sections. Like the front 2 are.

As it stands they are goofy, really looks like an after market , after thought piece, stick on go fast, not functional, or balanced .
