2018 hood vents poor design

It looked to me like the vents are placed so they'll just drip on plastic stuff under the hood.
If you're worried about rust, ambient humidity will probably matter more than these little hood vents.

Smh, everyone knows more than those stupid ford engineers right?

Yes the Ford engineers are smart, but I guarantee you they did not design this system to be fully functional at cooling in extreme track use. They designed these to for a certain desired look and for minimal cooling on the streets.

Just because smart engineers designed it, doesn't mean its design is the pinnacle of engineering and that it can't be improved further when the cooling needs change.
