Are you adding a lot more, other than just going to E85? Because if you just want to use E85, the stock dual fuel system is more than enough. I am flashing over to run E85 next week.LMR lists the Ford Performance 47# injectors as compatible with MY18 but I have seen other sites only list them for UP to MY17. M-9593-LU47. So I am wondering what injectors other 2018's are currently running for e85/FF applications?
For now just typical bolt ons. Maybe FI eventually but that's probably a couple years out. I was just under the impression 47s were a requirement for e85.Are you adding a lot more, other than just going to E85? Not on the 18's. Can make over 650 on the stock fuel setup. For now just typical bolt ons. Maybe FI eventually but that's probably a couple years out. I was just under the impression 47s were a requirement for e85.
You can go full bolt on + E85 with the 2018s and still have room left with fueling. For now just typical bolt ons. Maybe FI eventually but that's probably a couple years out. I was just under the impression 47s were a requirement for e85.
Awesome! I assume with the Whipple though fuel system upgrades will be required?Correct on what has been said above. I've got longtubes, jlt intake, resonator, etc and on E85 without issues.
Car went 11.4-11.5 @ 122 in lovely Houston weather.
Now just waiting on my Whipple from beefcake
It seems even Whipple is pretty confident in the stock fuel system as The Stage 1 uses 4.0" SC pulley, 38lb/hr injectors, stock fuel pump, warrantable.Awesome! I assume with the Whipple though fuel system upgrades will be required?
Wow great to know thanks! It seems even Whipple is pretty confident in the stock fuel system as The Stage 1 uses 4.0" SC pulley, 38lb/hr injectors, stock fuel pump, warrantable.
Stage 2 uses 3.875" SC pulley, 38lb/hr injectors, DW400 pump, 300rpm higher limit/shift points.
Obviously that's for pump gas so I'll have to do a little figuring for the E85. Seems the handful of the cars out are going with the fore system but I'd like to see what the dw400 pump could handle.

My rationale was I need the tune for long tubes and cai anyways so why not do a ff option! Been round and round on which lts. Almost pulled the trigger during memorial day specials on catted ARH with direct comnect for Corsa but issues with the house I'm building put it on hold. Been back and forth since then but leaning back towards the ARH or possibly SP. Either way hope to move forward shortly.https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2232360&postcount=59
I think you will be really pleased on what your car gains on the E85 tune. We didn't pick up much at all with my 93 tune, but E resulted in great numbers before I did headers and such.
You won't regret it
