Although the technical innovations are great, I can't get over the front end and the pricing/packages.

That and I love my car...
Words out of my mouth. I also love my car and would take a huge financial hit just like anyone trading in who already has an S550.

I just priced a 2018 Mustang GT Premium with the same options as my 2017 and it came out $2,205.00 more. While I like everything you get for that much more I would not have been able to swing the numbers, plus I would latter need to change that front fascia which would cost me more. Love the 10-speed auto which would have cost me $1595.00 more.

I love my 15 and I love the upgrades to the 18 but I'm not a fan of the front end of the 18

The most interesting thing about the 2018 for me is the new transmission. The HP and magneride shocks are also interesting, but not as much as the 10 speed auto.
That's what I think too, 10 speed could be a good drag and road race trans, then add magnaride, and could be the hot ticket

If they come out with competition orange, I would consider a 2018+. I am happy with my GT and it only has 14k miles on it, so no need to take a hite just yet....I also just ordered a ton of aftermarket parts lol

Like many others, I am not planning on trading my car anytime soon. Got the 50th Anniversary Appearance and color that I wanted because I do not switch just because something better comes out. The options look great and if I were looking now for a new car I would consider an 18, but until my '15 has run its course, I am not in the market for anything new.

Sticker on my 16 GT Prem was $39785 (400a/auto/20" wheels), exact same options on an 18 is $42885 for an increase of $3100.

Plus, I got mine with a few thousand miles on it for 36k. Car is 100% bone stock and will remain that way ...
