I'm wondering something. If the 2018 GT base stereo with 6 speakers is a 4-channel radio, how are the front speakers wired?
My assumption is the radio is a 4-ohm per channel setup with the rear factory 2-ways at 4 ohms.
But, what are the door speakers rated at in conjunction with the pillar tweeters? Are they both 4-ohm? If so, how are they wired to create a 4-ohm circuit for each front channel of the console? Are they series making 8-ohm? Are they parallel at 2-ohm total? Or at parallel with a 2-ohm high power resistor inline to balance out the resistance?
