To answer your question: No. ;)My 18 GT w/A10 will sometimes bounce back and forth a bit after shifting into gear, usually 4th or 5th gear especially under load like up a hill. Anyone else notice this?
FYI I have data acquisition plots which display the gear number using math and the gear ratios/tire revs per mile, OBD rpm, and gps mph. I haven't seen anything like you describe in testing but my focus has mostly been on full throttle shifts in D or S. However some has been in normal driving and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Ditto with manual shifts. It's hard to explain - I guess the best description would be if feels like the two gears it is shifting between are connected by a rubber band,so when it shifts there is some some slop and a little bounce back and forth instead of a tight no-slop shift. It is definitely not hunting for the right gear. It happens mostly when, in my opinion, it upshifts too early when going uphill or under strong acceleration. It's like it shifted too early and the bounces into gear. and a bit back and forth after shifting. This is in normal mode with shifter in D.
I'll try to pay more attention as to when I notice it and exactly what gears its' doing it in.
1st or 2nd gear with nannies on and near the limiter already?I had mine bounce off the rev limiter the other day getting a run in with my buddy. In sport + with it in D...... wonder if I spun a little of if the 35 profile on the rear wheels making it hit the limiter or what it was....
