I have seen some with that issue. I am pushing 400/428 after mods and haven't had an issue.

Update to this one. Just talked with dealer and he said he would sell it for $2500 over if someone secured it prior to the weekend.

If I wanted an R I'd be all over this one. Heck, I paid a $2,500 ADM for an early '16 Track Pack car and wanted white. A '17 yes, but the fact that there haven't been numerous responses by now is interesting.

I'd been looking for an allocation on an early '18 so I could get a base R in Orange Fury, but have pretty much given up on that. I still cruise the net occasionally looking for one and would have considered this if it didn't have the electronic package.

Hope if finds a good home with someone from this forum, though.

Winter makes for great buying opportunities and many in the hunt are keen to take advantage of it. If a ~70k outlay for a car is hung up due to Christmas you either have a heck of a lot of presents to buy or you don't have the money to make the move anyway. If if the GT500, a car that has yet to be announced in any way, is giving pause then I'm back to my original mention of it being interesting as it says (potentially, anyway) something about how desirable they are at this point in the particular model's life cycle.

Prices are leveling off on the R's for sure. I had a dealer call me a week ago and offer an R at $5K over and a fair trade valuation. Had to pass since I already have one on order and am willing to wait, but this would have been unheard of up until now IMO.

I wasn’t suggesting Christmas due to financials. I was suggesting it due to timing. OP said 2500 was good if they jumped on it this weekend...

That said - to your point if the demand was as high as previous someone would’ve jumped all over it regardless.

Great price. To think 7 months ago when I did my search, $7500 ADM was the best I could come up with till I got lucky.
