Is the car stock?
If not, what mods?
What milage and maintenance?
Circumstances when misfires began?

There are just so many possibilities that can cause your symptoms.

The very first thing I would do is to swap the ignition coil on #8 with a cylinder that is not reporting a misfire. I'd also check the plug while the coil is off.

Correct the easiest one first if the battery is old anyway. Change it…Then rescan and see where you are. A weak battery can jack up sensors.

Bone stock and always had regular maintenance and I have replaced the plugs like four times in the past couple years with stock motor craft plugs and the last time I did it I replaced the ignition coil's motor craft but I put e3s and each time it would run better of course. Now I did run it out of gas one time and really low a couple times and so I was thinking maybe its the fuel pump and the reason I say that is because I can fill up the check engine light will go out and it will run much better mileage 170.688
