Hey guys I wanted to ask if these mods all work together, what your recommendations are, how your experience had been with them if you have them already, and what could I possibly swap out on my list.

• The Gen 2 Cobrajet Intake Manifold (likely going with steeda for the cold air intake)

• The Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace

Steeda sells adjustable engine mounts I'd like to use to accommodate the intake manifold and keep the stock GT hood. Would this also allow me to fit a pair of kooks long tube headers? I also plan on getting a one-piece aluminum drive shaft (and maybe upgrading the left and right half shafts to 2000HP capable ones because why not)?

At the moment, I have these mods installed that'll probably affect fitment and what I need to buy/fabricate. (I know I'll need to uninstall my strut tower brace but that's ok).

• Steeda Mustang Strut Tower Brace

• Corsa Performance Sport Cat-Back Exhaust

• Pedders Extreme XA Suspension Kit

I don't have a particular goal in mind with my S550 but better performance, sound, and handling are always pluses in my book

Thanks!

You should first decide on how you will use the car most of the time
Canyon carving, cruising, commuting, cars and coffee, etc
That will dictate the modifications that you should do or not
Obviously some people modify their car just to do it without rhythm or reason

I think I would be one of the people who mod it just to mod it. It's my daily and I live in a city (most of my driving is done on the freeway). Adding the Pedders kit made it more maneuverable and decreased the turn radius by a noticeable amount when trying to get in and out of tighter spots/taking corners. Better handling is the priority but speed is nice too. I also have some rear subframe braces from steeda I need to put on.

Just my opinion, I feel like you'd be better off with a 18+ intake over the cj. And unless you plan on making lots of power and launching the car on some sticky tires, you must likely don't need the 2000hp axles. The gt350 axles seem like a solid upgrade over the gt. 18+ intake, headers and a tune nets decent gains, even more if you can get an E85 tune.

If you decide to go with the GT350 axles I have a brand new in box set. If interested reach out.

Just came across this thread and thought I'd weigh in.

I have a '17 GT. In 2019, when my stock intake manifold's IMRC system failed, I didn't even think about replacing it with another '17 IM because the 2018 IM is a much better design. I bought a new 18 IM and an IMRC lockout kit. Got a Lund tune to go with the 18 IM, GT500 airbox and catback exhaust I have and never looked back.

I run 93 octane religiously and have never had a single check engine light. Performance has been stellar.

I can second the GT350 axles. My rear wheel bearings went a couple of months back I bought the GT350 axles from LMR. Perfect fit, no issues and I swear I have better off the line traction now. But the differential fluid swap I did at the same time may be playing into that as well.

Hope this helps.
