Loving mine so far but wish the install manual mentioned that the rear seat clips needed to be pushed in before pulled up, in my zest to do install I broke one off pulling up too hard!
Noticed that if you enable a my mode it goes to that instead of sport+ which is cool if you want to tweak settings. But now I see in the firmware v1.1 config manual that it has a memory mode which is so cool! Any idea when version v1.1 will be out? my usb connector is just inside my side panel so will be super easy to update.

Lost me here. Maybe my background in both racing and aviation. Again, how is a 20mph headwind any different from going 20mph into still air? The only obvious answer is going 20mph into a 20mph headwind is 40mph in still air and 0 with a 20mph tailwind.

You are not taking into account other dynamic forces like the car going over bumps, vibration and the forces associated with that. All the forces are additive. It's a cool product but may not have OEM type long term testing and development behind it. They just want to sell you their product, they don't care if your top only lasts 1/2 as long....

You can choose to set operating speed to 0 if you like, the device is fully configurable.

I thought it was fairly well known that ebay has 15% off everything days. Then, on Samsung Pay and other venues they sometimes have 10% off ebay giftcards. I buy them whenever I see them on sale. Finally, linking to ebay from a discount site like ebates gives another 1-2%. Pay for your giftcard with a rewards card for another couple percent or airlines miles or whatever. Stack all of them for 25-30% off anything on ebay...up to max value of around $650.

My latest score was a set of Streeda convertible jacking rails for $115 new. Prior to that I got some tires at 20% off the lowest price I could find anywhere else.

Just installed the smartTop. It was pretty easy to install. I love the one touch operation and the auto set to sport+ mode. I noticed that when I did a remote start that it did not set to sport mode though. It does when starting with the push button.

Thanks for the pics, but where exactly does it mount? and do you have to remove all of the side panel trim to install?
