Hi,

Does anyone have experience and recommendations to reduce cowl shake and modestly improve handling for the 2017 v6 convertible? I have the automatic wthat is all stock and an MPT tune. Not looking to lower my ride but just reduce cowl shake and firm up the suspension. I was thinking of calling Steeda but wanted to check here first. Thanks in advance to the community members who have already been done this road.

I have the Steeda jacking rails , the 2 point G-Trac brace and a Ford strut tower brace.
all helped slightly. But still has noticeable cowl shake. This may have been improved with the 18+
I assume the short coming is the A-pillar.
My suspension is original, when it is in the teens I noticed the shocks with cold fluid make a difference with better handling even through the tires are harder.
The road conditions in my area are poor have no interest in lowering but at some point will upgrade the shocks.

I don’t think there is any improvement with the 18+. I was considering adding the strut bar but don’t really think that will do much for cowl shake.

Thanks. I’m wondering if the 4 point g-trac brace would help but am guessing not much since it is not mentioned as a benefit in the product description. I may call Steeda. Thanks for sharing your experience.
