I think a lot of people, myself included, thought that for some reason this only applied to standard Mustangs and the GT350s would follow a slightly different schedule. No real basis for that aside from some anonymous "inside sources". I'm glad that it looks like they are in fact following the same schedule though! That has been published I believe, MY16 ends 6/1, MY17 starts 6/2, so everything on track as expected.
It would be pretty cool if you were able to score the "Very Last" R model for the very first full year of R model production?SO my 2016 R WAS scheduled for a 5/30 build week but got moved to a 5/23 build week. So far it seems like the last build week for 2016s is 5/23 and the first for 2017s will be 5/30.
Looks like my suspicions are confirmed - they are building 16-17 back to back.
Fingers crossed for you!It would be pretty cool if you were able to score the "Very Last" R model for the very first full year of R model production?
Here's hoping!!

Message FordService with your order and dealer numbers.Question - I ordered mine from a dealer, but have had a hell of a time getting a DORA from them. Its almost like they don't know where in the system to find it. They swear to me its ordered. Is there someone from the Ford social team on here that can help me confirm?
I've waited this long - that would be a nice consolation! I doubt it, though because my build day has been set as 5/26....I guess that's pretty close. It would be pretty cool if you were able to score the "Very Last" R model for the very first full year of R model production?

Given how MY16 was, I figured it was going to be fubared as well, good to know that MY17 owners will have a less stressful wait :cheers:I think a lot of people, myself included, thought that for some reason this only applied to standard Mustangs and the GT350s would follow a slightly different schedule. My previous dealer, who claimed to be "the highest Mustang volume seller east of the Mississippi" basically ignored my repeated requests for a DORA - pretending like I had never asked. :tsk:Question - I ordered mine from a dealer, but have had a hell of a time getting a DORA from them.
