Nice! I was just making a point to persuade those to REALLY drive the darn thing.... just watch Matt Farah's latest vid for example. This car is meant to be driven and driven often not tucked away in the Smithsonian. Standardizing the Track Pack for 2017 is wise and a no brainer.

I'm the exact same as you. Grabber Blue (with white stripes OTT) all the way for me, though a stripeless Ruby Red comes second.


Dude, I live on Vancouver Island. We have some of the best driving roads ever..... BC-4 to Tofino and back is canyon heaven. BC-20 through Strathcona is non stop apex to apex for a good 50+ km. I beat the **** out of my cars on those roads... the GT350 will get the same treatment.

For those that live nearby or would like to consider it a destination event, this is in my "backyard." Let me know if you're ever in the neighbourhood, I'd love to see and HEAR your GT350. Sadly, I haven't had the pleasure yet. Here's the link....

It does make sense, but it's also frustrating (especially to those of us in Canada) for those of us who have no need or desire for the formerly-called-Track Pack extras, and now we're expected to pay full price for it anyway. This will push the "base" price up from 65 to around 72k CDN, before taxes and ADM.

Exactly, glad i got a rare base '16 model for $63099 Cad.

They're all MSRP in Alberta, except the R of course.

I got into a base and couldn't be happier. I'll consider adding the coolers once Ford performance releases them. I'm not missing the magnetic ride so much either. Im an analog driving experience kind of guy and appreciate the standard suspension very much. It's very well planted!

Curious to see how the base system would do on a skid pad and slalom. It feels great.

Yeah it is pretty much the same picture here, i've seen some mark ups but most went for MSRP except "R" cars of course.

I'll be in the same boat as you with my base car waiting for Ford to release a nice little cooler kit.

Thanks for your feedback on how you're enjoying the ride with base car.

I'd be interested to know what type suspension set up Ford has installed in the base cars. Are the dampers-springs a notch above the GT PP ?

my dealer offered me a 2016 allocation but I told them I wanted to get a 2017 OR a promisary note that they would install the coolers if i opted to take their last 2016 allocation. i would order the tech pack if its a 2016

Are you sure? GG tax is not part of MSRP. The Ford guy said the base MSRP with destination is $56,495. So your 3% could be added then comes the GG tax.:shrug:

The numbers work exactly right for including the GG Tax: Base + Destination + Track Package + GG Tax. That's what I based it on, but it's still just a guess.

I spoke with my dealer today and he was trying to pull up the order guide for the 2017 GT and the 2017 GT350 and he was able to get the order guide for the 2017 GT350 but not the GT. I am second on his list for 2017 GT350 he is waiting on his allocation from Ford. He did get 2 GT350's in 16 here is hoping he gets 2 2017. Hurry up Ford your killing me.

I think the price is just right but I would of like to see the base price be a little lower then the added $6500 for the track pack. Ford could of absurd some of that price since the $6500 is Consumer price and not cost for Ford. But I can and will live with it. Im 1st on my dealer list for 2017. That Lighting Blue really did get my attention. I would like to see it with white OTT stripes.
