I'm reposting a post I made from another thread with a couple of tweaks.

I just picked up a 2016 GT Premium with Performance Pack, Navigation, Perimeter Alarm, and Reverse Park Assist.

MSRP: $41,275

I paid $36,900 out the door with 0% financing over 60 months. They beat Koons Ford by nearly $2,000 on the price of the car and by over $4,000 on my trade. They actually kept the $750 rebate and still gave me 0% financing.

I did have a trade that got me slightly over KBB, which was just icing on the cake.

If anybody is interested in how to get such a low price just find a car on Koons Ford's website and add $750 into the price or leave it if you don't want 0%, then add $900 freight, and $599 doc fee to their internet price and contact every dealer in your state that has the car you want and see who will beat it or match. I found the smaller dealers will laugh at you, but the higher volume ones with more inventory are more willing to work with you. The only other obstacle is not letting them screw you on trade or interest rate if you don't qualify for 0%. If you are willing to put in the time sending anonline contact form to all the higher volume dealerships in your state you can save thousands. Initially the price will be higher but if you play the Koons Ford card, you should be able to find one that will beat or match them.

I went to Sarasota Ford for anybody interested.

Wow! 36k out the door? That's impressive. I don't know why dealers by me won't budge. I think the lowest I've seen is about 35k.

i paid a touch under $30k OTD for a Base GT in march.
I had a $500 dealer rebate/$500 military/ $750 brochure coupon. I think the dealer was trying to push cars out the door for their end of quarter or month...definitely recommend shopping at the end of months so you can have more leverage.

buying a 2016 car at this point should be an even better deal

^^^^^ what jashton said.

Play these guys off each other. They've got to move these, refrigerators... got to move those color TV's.

They've got new (2017) inventory coming in and they should be willing to deal.

I'm hoping to have this happen. The online sales price is listed at $35,300 for the premium GT I found. That being said, the same dealership didn't honor this cost for the Fusion my fiancé bought (they still gave us a great deal though).

I see they have a $1000 rebate, so that should help me. I can also qualify for the military as well. I can't seem to find the brochure coupon though.

Know what you want to pay...go in and tell them you are a buyer at that price and walk out when they say no.

I got the brochure coupon through ford.com, just click a bunch of different ford models and request a brochure mailed to your address.

This is what i plan on doing. Unfortunately, there isn't many 16s left. So, looks like I'm running out of real estate to bargain with.

And the manager took home the 16 I wanted and went to the dealer to look at. So, that's awesome.
